It is well known that at the time this collection was poorly received, and ultimately led to the dismissal of Jacobs from the label. The critics got it wrong, and the collection went on to be a celebrated, highly influential piece of 1990s fashion history, spurring a successful career for Marc Jacobs, who has become renowned for his cultural-referencing collections. This cotton jacket is black with a vivid cherry print, a print that ran through several looks of the collection. It has two pockets at the front hips, and one pocket at the bust. Two button front, with three decorative buttons at each cuff. Four point collar. Fully lined.
