Bill Gibb Vintage SS 1978 Multicolor Floral Intarsia Knit Drop Waist Duster

Stunning, rare vintage Bill Gibb knit from Spring/Summer 1978, shown here documented in the lookbook advance. Substantial knit featuring a floral and geometric intarsia in shades of terracotta, yellow, purple, and blue. Wide cut arm opening extending to a draped short sleeve. Drawstring closure that adjusts up and ties near the natural waistline, creating an abundant upper, but could also be worn untied as a dropped waist. Pockets at front. Complete with matching fringed edge scarf that can be worn and styled in a variety of ways. A museum-worthy, collectible that is as wearable as it is beautiful.
