An absolutely iconic, show stopping vintage dress by Thierry Mugler, from the AW 1990-91 collection. Noted as the 'Vampire Dress' by many, with the signature bodice of the 'Kessler Dress'. Vampy, ultra luxe design with pointed extending tips at the bust and back side. Dropped shoulders with structured, puff sleeves. Fully boned corset-style bodice, with an inner layer that is also boned for an extra 'umph'. Nipped waist and wiggle skirt fit, with a dramatic peplum overlay. Partial zipper at back of skirt. Hook and eye closure all the way up the back. Medium weight black crepe. Fully lined. A true masterpiece. Documented and museum held.
