Incredible vintage Whiting & Davis bag, circa 1920s. As seen in the SFO museum. Whiting and Davis' early ultra fine link chainmail mesh. Enamel floral design that almost looks airbrushed, in the most beautiful combination of both muted and vibrant colors. Very cool art deco frame and lift tab closure, with chain and enamel beaded strap. Fringed bottom trim. Oval link chain. Silver tone hardware. Pale blue silk lining. Signed inside. This small, elegant bag accommodates your utmost essentials (does not fit an iphone), but also serves as a piece of art.
