Exceptional vintage John Galliano gown, from Spring/Summer 1996, shown here documented on the runway in white on the incomparable Naomi Campbell. This dress is like a fine work of art - the details are utterly beautiful. Off-set asymmetrical bust line with intentionally askew strap that comes from the v neckline and drapes off the shoulder. Single strap fabric strap at right side and silver chain strap at the other, with multiple dangling off-the-shoulder chains. Large open eyelets detailed in floral and butterfly embroidery throughout, revealing skin yet still leaving something to the imagination. Stunning flared skirt that forms a train. Of course it wouldn't be a Galliano if it wasn't cut on the bias, and let's be honest - nobody cuts a dress quite like he does. Red carpet worthy. Wedding worthy. Black tie worthy.
