Pauline Trigere Vintage 1960s Mod Deep Green Wool Backless Embellished Shoulder Gown

Incredible vintage Pauline Trigere gown, from the late 1960s. This fabulous piece was part of the personal collection of Lucie Porges, Pauline's closest collaborator and right hand. Heavyweight, crepe-like textured wool in a beautiful shade of deep green. This mod style dress is full length, with a fitted upper and an a-line skirt bottom. Fabulous back side cutout with a buttoned tab at the back of the neck. Beautifully embellished shoulders in yellow, green, red, and clear beads and crystals that sparkle and shine. Fully lined in green silk. A stunning piece of fashion history.

Condition: Excellent overall condition. Some minor marks to the wool here and there that aren't super noticeable and therefore do not detract while worn. Minor wear to embellishments. Some atelier-made alterations, as this came from the personal collection of Lucie Porges.
