Romeo Gigli Vintage Estate 1996 Black Silk Jacquard Floral Damask Two Piece Jacket and Pant Suit

Stunning vintage suit by Romeo Gigli, from 1996, 'Estate' label. This absolutely gorgeous two piece set comes in a structured, mid-weight silk and features a black on black tonal floral damask jacquard throughout. The jacket is impeccably tailored, with a pouch pocket the chest, and a flap pocket at each hip (still stitched shut!). Single button closure at waist. Pants are unmistakably Gigli, with that oh-so-desirable high waist and tapered leg, pockets at hips, zip and button closure at side, little slits at the  outer side of each leg's hem. Both pieces are unlined. Honestly, this is a DREAM SUIT, and you should definitely wear these pieces on their own as much as you do together to maximize their potential in your wardrobe.
