Insane vintage corset by Vivienne Westwood, from the Fall/Winter 1996 'Storm in a Teacup' collection, the same lace shown here on the runway, and the shape of this corset is prevalent in other pieces as well. As seen on Davina McCall at the 1996 MTV Europe Awards (accompanied by Jean Paul Gaultier!), Denise van Outen at the 1998 Elle Style Awards, and recently Kourtney Kardashian. This thing is BREATHTAKING. Almond color asymmetrical bodice that scoops from the single strap at the left side to an asymmetrical point at the right side that is absolutely divine. A stunning large duchesse satin bow adorns the strap at the backside. Black lace overlay that gathers and ruches. 18th century inspired boning at the interior. Zip up back. Gold Label masterpiece.
