Yohji Yamamoto SS 1984 Brown Green Blue Patterned Cotton Dress with Single Leg

Truly incredible vintage Yohji Yamamoto dress, from Spring/Summer 1984, shown here documented on the runway in an alternative print. This piece is really something special - museum worthy. Brownish green, blue, and grey print on a medium-weight cotton. Shirt style upper with amazing tab button closure along the front. Vented under arm and sides at waist. Slit pocket at each hip. Attached at the inside of the skirt, a single pant leg with open inner side, closure via buttons at the pant cuff. The pant leg is optional- it buttons and snaps into the side of the skirt should you opt not to wear it that way at any given time! This phenomenal and rare piece is a remarkable design and a work of art.
