Stunning vintage Yves Saint Laurent suit from Fall/Winter 2004, Tom Ford's final collection for the house, the fabric shown here documented on the runway and in the ad campaign. Taking inspiration from YSL's 1977 couture collection, the two piece suit features a beautiful, muted pastel and semi-metallic scenic chinoiserie on a finely ribbed silk and wool blend. The jacket features a button front closure. Standing collar, buttoned cuff tabs. Impeccable tailoring. Structured, padded, semi-pointed shoulder. Trimmed in black velvet and black satin ribbon throughout. Matching self tie belt. Fully lined in cotton candy pink silk with a large, bold tonal YSL embroidered monogram. Matching, simplte pencil skirt with zip closure at backside. Absolutely fantastic.
