ABAKUS by Marsha Chun-Matsubara 2007 Clear Bead Golden Baroque Massive Waterfall Bib Necklace
Sensational future vintage necklace by Abakus (Marsha Chun-Matsubara), circa 2007. Marsha's fantastic and rare pieces were sold at Barney's and to private clients. Her jewelry line was short lived, but her impact was mighty. Consistently regarded as a favorite amongst the industry's top stylists, her pieces often graced the pages of Vogue, Elle, Harper's Bazaar, and more. This necklace is out of this world! Massive, oversized, statement bib necklace. Cascading and graduating strands of clear resin beads, with golden cap details here and there throughout. Large, golden baroque plate pendants connect the strands and hand asymmetrically. Large clasp closure. Dangling brand charm at back. Shown here worn by the designer, as well as on a full size dress form for scale.
