Alaia Vintage AW 1983 Iconic Cropped Black Leather Bolero Jacket
Absolutely gorgeous vintage leather jacket by Azzedine Alaia, from FW 1983, as documented here in both Vogue UK and an advertisement for Barney's New York. This iconic piece comes in a supple, buttery, smooth black leather. Cropped, bolero style. This jacket is not fitted, featuring an unusual and amazing loose silhouette/shape, with sleeves meant to be bunched, perfectly capturing the 1980s. Shawl-style collar. Great seams. Padded, power shoulder. Fully lined. And if this jacket couldn't get any better, it has indeed never been worn, with original tag still attached.
