Alaia Vintage ICONIC 1986 Documented Nipped Waist Denim Moto Jacket

Incredible, highly sought after Azzedine Alaia jacket from 1986. This well documented piece comes in many iterations, but the one you see here is the same iconic style shown here in a well-known portrait of Azzedine. This jacket comes in a blackened denim (sort of deepest blue, washed grey, if you will). Incredible four point collar that can be zipped up entirely via the curved zipper a la moto-style, creating an interesting bodice and two point collar. Nipped, wasp waist with a peplum-esque high hip. Exaggerated sleeves that look great ruched up to the elbow. Classic contrasting yellow stitching throughout. Amazing seam work and panels and backside. Zipper pocket at bust. This one right here is an icon - a true piece of fashion history. The best jean jacket you will ever own.
