Alaia Vintage Rare SS 1985 Black Beige Knit Viscose Cardigan Sweater Jacket

Stunning vintage early Azzedine Alaïa knit cardigan jacket, from Spring/Summer 1985, shown documented here on the runway in a different color. This ultra rare piece is an exquisite double knit viscose in black and beige. Simple, yet intricate, on the outer side the beige peeks through the black, with the inner side being completely beige, it looks great cuffed and collared. Draping dolman sleeve with wide arms. Interesting seaming at the front and back. This cardigan sweater has a slightly oversized vibe, with a double mother of pearl button closure toward the bottom and slit pockets at hips.
