Alexander McQueen Vintage SS 2004 Deliverance Iconic Patchwork Jacket Skirt Suit
Outstanding and iconic vintage Alexander McQueen suit, from the Spring/Summer 2004 Deliverance collection, shown here documented on the runway, and as seen on Nicole Kidman, Jennifer Connelly, and Sienna Miller. This sensational ensemble comes in a patchwork of cottons and silks in stripes, plaids, and floral jacquards, in a variety of ivory, beige, light brown, light green, and light blue shades (and more). Perfectly tailored jacket with the most incredible peplum. Mother of pearl button closure with a partial placket, the excess buttons along the bottom and collar serve as decorative. Lightly padded shoulder for structure. Hourglass skirt with trumpet flare at bottom, zipper closure at side. Exposed chunky stitches connecting the panels that are incredibly cool. Distressed edges and intentionally disheveled vibe to make the ensemble feel "danced in", just like on the runway. The jacket is fully lined in cotton, and the skirt is partially lined in silk. This masterpiece can be found in some of the world's best fashion museums.
