Stunning and super rare vintage Bottega Veneta coat from the early 1990s. This superb piece features a black, blue, red, and green checkered, trompe l'oeil print of Bottega's iconic intrecciato on velvet, which is diamond quilted throughout. A short coat, with button front closure via black intrecciato suede covered buttons. Large patch pockets at front. Unlined, with black diamond quilting on reverse side. Complete with huge, oversized rectangular shawl with dramatically long fringe at each end. One side has matching checkered velvet, the other solid black silk crepe de chine. Wear each piece apart or together, the styling possibilities are endless! The coat has never been worn, with extra button bag still attached inside.
