Chloe Vintage 1975 Coral Silk Crepe de Chine Dress and Shawl Cape Ensemble Set

Absolutely breathtaking vintage Chloe ensemble, as documented in Deborah Turbeville's 'A Different Kind of Evening" editorial for Vogue, October, 1975. This is a truly special, impossible to find set. Karl Lagerfeld for Chloe at it's finest. Obviously 1930s inspired, this dress comes in a magnificent coral crepe de chine silk, with a matching shawl cape that is backed in taupe, and drapes magnificently. The dress features ruching at the neckline, as well as the waist. The wrapping skirt bottom comes to a drape at the front, with an open, long line revealing slit, and zips up at the back side. Matching fabric self tie belt. Do not discount the back, however, as the sexy deep v reveals itself when you are not wearing the shawl. Cut on the bias. This piece is truly magnificent, and we are thrilled to have it in our collection until it finds it's perfect home.

Condition: Dress is in excellent, pristine condition with no flaws to note. The shawl is also in excellent condition, but does have two small, minor spots that get lost in the amount of fabric when worn.
