Breathtaking vintage ensemble from Christian Dior, by Gianfranco Ferre, circa Spring/Summer 1994, shown here documented on the runway. This demi-couture set boasts a numbered label, gorgeous design, and high quality construction, complete with both the top and skirt. Patterned, taupe, semi-sheer bias silk with a light beige sheer silk lining layer. The top features an asymmetric, off-set ruffle throughout, surplice bust line with stitched under bust, with a large, crispy white linen collar, corresponding french cuffs and ball links. Zips closed at side. The matching skirt features tiered ruffles throughout over a slightly darker shade of beige lining, with a zipper and hook closure at the waist. Wear them on their own or together to maximize the pieces' potential within your wardrobe.
