Comme des Garcons Vintage AW 1982 Destroy Collection Black Wool 'Hole' Blanket Scarf Wrap Shawl
A truly incredible piece of fashion history right here! This early Comme des Garcons piece hails from Fall/Winter 1982, the rare, highly coveted and often museum-archived 'Destroy Collection'. The distressed fabrics from this collection featured holes, slashes, and pulls - dubbed Rei Kawakubo's version of "lace". This boiled wool blend shawl scarf has an intentionally distressed/washed/tattered vibe and features various holes, fringe like tails, and nubs throughout. Raw fringe edge. It's massive in size, nearly a blanket, and can be styled to your heart's content. This collectible piece is absolutely fantastic.
