Comme Des Garcons Vintage SS 1982 Natural Silk and Linen Oversized Cross Back Duster Coat

Exquisite vintage Comme des Garcons coat from Spring/Summer 1982, shown here documented on the runway. This v ultra rare piece is a duster-like lightweight coat comprised of a silk and linen blend, exhibiting intentional creases and wrinkles. An creamed ivory, natural color with varying flecks throughout. An oversized silhouette with a deep front lapel, button closure, and pockets. At the back, a phenomenal cross over design, creating a remarkable cutout at the upper beneath the backside of the collar. Unlined. A fantastic example of Rei Kawakubo's early work- similar pieces are often only found in museums.
