Frances Patiky Stein Vintage Black Gripoix Charm and Golden Chain Necklace
Incredible, rare vintage necklace by Frances Patiky Stein. Frances once designed for Chanel following the death of Coco, and is said to have revitalized and breathed new life into the house- she designed accessories, jewelry, cashmere pieces, and even introduced the now iconic ballet flat. It's easy to see the influence that this time had on her own work, even down to the quality. This stunning piece features dangling black Gripoix glass cabochon charms, banded and backed in gold plated metal. Textured, artisanal hammered chain. Large, statement making brutalist inspired design that sprawls across the neckline. S hook closure that can be placed anywhere on the chain to adjust the length. Signed backside.
