Issey Miyake Vintage SS 1984 Rare Special Grey White String Chain Weave Cocoon Jacket
Absolutely breathtaking vintage Issey Miyake, from Spring/Summer 1984, shown documented here on the runway. This piece is also part of the Met Museum's collection. As special as it is rare, this cocoon sweater jacket features an intricate chain-like weave amongst sections of strings in grey and white variegation. Remarkable design details. Incredible drape, especially at the backside. Batwing style sleeve. Completely open in the front, this is a great throw on piece that will look as chic with jeans and a tee as it does with a dress. The lovely cotton blend makes it suitable for wear in almost all seasons, but great for Spring and Summer nights. A collectible piece of fashion history from an iconic designer.
