Issey Miyake Vintage SS 1988 Grey & Beige Striped Pleated Top and Skirt Ensemble Set

Phenomenal vintage Issey Miyake ensemble from Spring/Summer 1988, shown here documented on the runway. This incredible set is an earlier example of Issey's iconic pleating, and comes with both the jacket-style top and matching skirt. Grey and beige stripes that give off a plaid visual due to the pleating. Architecturally structured top with cropped sleeves and extended sides, button up front with gunmetal honeycomb buttons. Matching skirt with stretch waist and slight structural details that create an asymmetric hem. Wear them together or on their own to maximize their potential within your wardrobe.
