Issey Miyake Vintage SS 2006 Black Sand Distressed Overdyed Gathered Pleated Dress

Incredible vintage dress by Issey Miyake, from Spring/Summer 2006, as shown here documented on the runway. This piece comes in a charcoal/black cotton/ramie blend that is lightweight and breathable. Featuring the most amazing and unusual details - an overdyed bit in a great shade of sand amongst distressed and deconstructed pleating and gathering. V neckline, with an expertly concealed diagonal zipper that goes from the bottom of the neckline and wraps around to the back of the hip. A corset style lacing at the backside allows you to adjust the silhouette. Slightly flared/a-line skirt bottom. This dress is absolutely stunning!
