Jean Paul Gaultier Vintage SS 1985 Black Paisley Embroidered Crop Top and Skirt Ensemble Set

Absolutely amazing vintage Jean Paul Gaultier ensemble from Spring/Summer 1985, shown here documented on the runway. Intentionally slightly faded black, almost charcoal, cotton blend. Completely covered in paisley and squiggle embroidery that creates a really cool and textured effect. The top is to die for- it has a dramatic high-low silhouette that almost looks like a cape, extra extra long sleeves, and a stunning high collar that fastens at the back with two brass/copper double cufflinks that have the coolest industrial look. Keyhole at upper back. Long pencil style skirt with a gathered, stretch elastic waist at the back. This is a major three-for-one, as both of the pieces look just as exceptional worn on their own as they do worn together.
