Gorgeous vintage 1970s dress by Jeff Banks. Banks is a Welsh designer who set up his fashion home base in the heart of the London, and is considered one of England's 1960s-1970s fashion greats alongside his friends Ossie Clark, Janice Wainwright, Mary Quant, Barbara Hulanicki of Biba, and Jean Muir (all of which, aside from Biba, were suppliers to his infamous store, Clobber). Jeff was also a dear friend and advisor of Vivienne Westwood, who entrusted him as director of her company after her passing. His designs are iconic and echo the sentiments of King's Road, Chelsea, Swinging London, and UK fashion. This dress is a perfect example of his work and it's time. Featuring an adorable white, blue, pink, and green floral print on cold rayon - a perfect nod toward it's clear 1940s inspiration. Darted, intricate bodice with two self ties at the sexy center bust.
