Kansai Yamamoto Vintage AW 1980 Baby Pink Colorful Novelty Print Faux Fur Coat

Absolutely amazing and ultra rare vintage Kansai Yamamoto coat, from Fall/Winter 1980, shown here documented on the runway. This relatively early and incredible piece of Kansai Yamamoto is not for the faint of heart. Baby pink, with a multicolor novelty print consisting of a high heel, koi fish, desserts, bridge, New York, Tokyo, and more! Low pile faux fur that is soft to the touch. Unlined pockets at front hips. Concealed button up closure placket at front. Standing collar. Long sleeves that are more fitted at the cuff and look great rolled. Lined in beige acetate.

Condition: Fair Wearable Condition. This coat has been professionally cleaned. There is a slight grey patina throughout, as expected with faux fur of this age. The lining is definitely rustic and showing signs of age and wear - there are some holes and such, but it's on the interior so does not really detract, and can be replaced by the new owner if need be. Unfortunately, the label is missing and no longer intact - but the print is signed KANSAI and you can see from the photos here that it is without a doubt, Kansai Yamamoto. This piece is extremely rare, and we believe the beauty surpasses it's flaws for which it is priced accordingly
