Kenzo Vintage 1980s Black Pleated Silk Chiffon Tiered Dramatic Full Length Skirt

Truly stunning vintage skirt by Kenzo, circa 1980s. This black skirt packs on the drama in a subtle way, featuring three tiers of sumptuous semi-sheer pleated silk chiffon. Each tier features various widths of satin ribbon trimmings. The bottom layers feature a near full sweep, allowing for show-stopping movement. Zips at the side, button closure at waistline.

Condition: Overall excellent condition, showing only the most minor signs of previous use/wear. The previous owner had a basting stitch applied to many of the pleats to keep them in place and intact during closet storage. Since this item will be shipped, we have opted to leave those stitches there so that the new owner can choose to store it as such, or remove when worn. We personally feel the basting stitches give the skirt an interesting edge akin to Comme des Garcons, so we wouldn't be opposed to seeing the new owner wear it like so!
