Lanvin Vintage AW 2004 by Alber Elbaz Marmot and Black Silk Velvet Bustle Trained Gown
Absolutely stunning vintage Lanvin gown, from Fall/Winter 2004, by Alber Elbaz, shown here documented on the runway as the closing look of the collection. Loveliest black silk velvet column gown with an asymmetrical, high/low hemline that extends to a dramatic train. The train has button holes toward the hem, to fasten it to the button at the backside of the dress to form bustle - a convenient feature for converting the look! Lined in black silk satin, with both layers having an intentionally distressed edge at the hem. Gorgeous almond silk satin straps with hooks to accommodate the beautiful varying shade marmot fur collar, allowing you to re-place and style it in a variety of ways. Invisible zipper closure at side. We're in love with it and you will be, too!
