Miss Mouse Vintage 1972 Rare Black Seersucker Cotton Puff Sleeve Red Yellow Ribbon Dress

Stunning and rare vintage dress by the incredible designer Miss Mouse, also known as Rae Spencer Cullen. Rae ventured into designing with a partner in 1970, designing and manufacturing everything themselves from one single room. For 4 years she continued this way, until she furthered her business, expanding into outside manufacturing. This piece is documented in two different magazines from 1972, making this one of those amazing, early pieces she put her hands on herself. Her work can be found in the most prestigious museum collections, including The Met and The V&A.

This incredible dress comes in black, wide stripe seersucker cotton. Fitted bodice, nipped waist with attached self tie that wraps toward the backside. Cutest puff sleeves. A line, full skirt bottom with ruffle trim. Contrasting red and yellow ribbons adorn the dress here and there throughout. Zip up back closure. A total dream!
