Monies Vintage Creamy Iridescent Mother of Pearl Multistrand Necklace

Absolutely stunning vintage necklace by Monies / Gerda Lynggaard. This exquisite piece features a whopping 42 strands of creamy, iridescent mother of pearl beads, hand strung and hand knotted. Complete with mother of pearl bars at the backside, with a leather and mother of pearl toggle style closure. This necklace looks great worn with the strands draping typically or- give it a twist before closing the backside for another unique look. This piece is not signed, but it is undeniably Monies and came from an avid collector who cataloged all of their pieces. It has also never been worn, with the original tag still attached.

Condition: Excellent condition, this item is deadstock and has never been previously used/worn, with original tag still attached. There is some faint glue on one of the bars, possibly from where the signature plate was attached? Either way, it is not noticeable when worn.
