Insanely amazing and iconic dress by Moschino, for the Cheap and Chic line, from 1996. Many variations of this dress are featured in museums, including The Met. Slightest off-white crepe body seamed and shaped to resemble a 'dress form' when worn. This trompe l'oeil effect really embodies a tailor's/seamstress'/dressmaker's form, right down to the mock neck and embroidery detail at the neckline that says 'Moschino Milano 1996'. Complete with an amazing large black bow. Zips closed at back side. Fully lined. A very cool piece of fashion history that captures the whimsy and surrealism that Moschino is known for.
