Breathtaking vintage Olivier Theyskens skirt, from Fall/Winter 1999, shown here as part of The Met's collection, and the shorter version shown here documented on the runway. This rare and fantastic piece comes in a heavy, woven raw silk in the deepest charcoal grey (almost black). Fitted waist with a zip fly closure at front center. Concealed pockets at hips. A-line, super full pleated bottom that cascades into an incredible pointed hem that sweeps the floor. The upper waist is lined in the same fabric, while the rest of the skirt is unlined. A museum-worthy treasure that you will love forever and ever.
