Phenomenal vintage Pierre Cardin coat, circa 1967-1969, a similar version shown here on Elsa Martinelli in 1967. This dreamy raincoat is what mod, space age dreams are made of - an outstanding example of Pierre Cardin's ready to wear fashion of this time. Jet black, oil slick vinyl akin to patent leather. Off-set zip up front with a large ring pull. Off-set tab at neck with gunmetal silver button closure. Off-set, quirky collar that looks great folded, popped, or worn all the way upward. Flap pockets at hips. Slight a-line cut. Vent at backside. Fully lined in acetate. Union made and Marshall Field's labels within.
