Stunning Pleats Please by Issey Miyake 'Madame T'. If you know you know- but these are sometimes marketed as caftans, sometimes dresses, or capes, shawls, or scarves, or even a tunic. Mostly because, yes- they can absolutely be worn in all of those ways and more. It's basically a giant rectangle with a hole for the head in the middle, one side is a little shorter than the other- which is long enough to create a train. When it's over your head, the front and back just drape over you and the sides are completely open, almost like a poncho. This particular piece we have here comes in a sought after color - a slightly metallic , gorgeous shade of light blue, and is also the longest length/scale version.
