Rie Christiansen Vintage 1980s Black Leather Wide Wrap Buckle Belt

Stunning vintage 1980s belt by elusive avant-garde Danish designer Rie Christiansen, whose boutique was nestled in Rosengarden Copenhagen from 1977-1993. This belt is made with a more raw black leather, intentionally displaying and enhancing natural grooves, scratches, and imperfections. There are two parts to the belt- the wider which has adjustable holes that close by peg, and the thinner of the two with an adjustable buckled closure. Brass hardware. This belt is as cool as it is rare, remaining impossible to find, like most of Christiansen's creations.
