Phenomenal vintage Roberto Capucci dress from Spring 1989, shown here documented in an editorial. This outstanding piece is an absolute showstopper! This Alta Moda couture piece is a outstanding, constructed from silk satin, chiffon, and taffeta. Glorious varying shades of yellow, green, red and pink. Fitted bodice that tapers to a full, ballroom level skirt consisting of multiple cascading and varying length layers- all trimmed in alternating dusty rose pink and banana yellow taffeta curling ruffles (which also have binding for structure). Comes with matching belt that is optional. Zip up back closure. If it couldn't get any better, almost every single stitch is done by hand. A whimsical and delightful piece that is definitely worthy of a museum.
