Absolutely stunning vintage Romeo Gigli heels, from Fall/Winter 1989, shown here documented on the runway, as well as museum-held by the Met. The rare, phenomenal treasures come in a pump silhouette with a burgundy silk shantung overlay, gathered and knotted with an adjustable, standing piece of fabric. Incredible twisted heel detail. Black leather soles, manufactured by Casadei. A collectible, exquisite example of the gentle romance Gigli was celebrated for. If you can believe it, these beauties have never ever been worn.
