Scaasi Vintage 1980s Purple and Green Floral Print Silk Puff Sleeve Gown

Stunning and chic vintage Arnold Scaasi gown from the late 1980s, shown here documented in the book 'A Cut Above', as well as the Martha store ad. Vivid, yet semi-muted green, off-white, and purple floral print semi-sheer structured gauzey silk chiffon. Dramatic gathered puffed sleeves. Darted and tailored hourglass-like fit that flares outward at the bottom and extends into a train at the backside. Cutest structured bow detail gathers the train, near the knee. Zip closure at back center. Fully lined in beige acetate, with boning, tulle and mesh here and there to accentuate the silhouette. Original tag still attached, the piece has never been worn.
