Vintage 1950s Phenomenal Structured Mother of Pearl Trapezoidal Handbag
Phenomenal vintage handbag from the early 1950s. This truly unique piece has mother of pearl tiles throughout, with the large centerpieces and elongated side tiles exhibiting curved, pillow like shapes. Golden brass hardware, hinged frame, oval swivel handle, and hinged lift clasp. Rigid, structured exterior with trapezoidal sides. Lined in powder pink satin, with a pocket at the wall. Pins at hinges are marked RR. Black leatherette bottom. Does not fit an iPhone, but who cares - the joy you'll feel carrying this masterpiece and the compliments you'll receive will certainly outweigh that.

Condition: Great overall condition, with signs of previous use/wear. Mother of pearl is pristine. Metal shows signs of wear, including scratches and loss of finish. Some scratches to the leatherette bottom. Interior shows many marks and stains. Presents beautifully either way.
