Incredible vintage 1920s bag by Whiting & Davis. Comprised of both silver chainmail and W&D's signature flat armor mesh. Art Deco geometric enamel along the front and black in green and white. Silver chainmail siding with fringed details at the bottom. Intricate chain strap suitable for hand or wrist carry. Stunning etched, hinged frame closure. Lined in off-white fabric. Original tag still attached.

Measurements: 4.25" Width, Varying Height of 5-7.25", Strap Drop 5.5"

Condition: Lovely, wearable overall condition. Darkening and varying tones to metal throughout. Missing bead adornment on closure. Ultra minor loss/wear to enamel. Fabric lining has discoloring, is detached at some parts, and has some seam separation. Due to it's age, it was important to us to preserve these original attributes. Although this item has it's original tag attached, we believe it has still been used. Priced accordingly.
