Yves Saint Laurent Vintage 1970s White Red Yellow Blue Vivid Floral Cotton Ruffle Dress
Insanely beautiful vintage Yves Saint Laurent dress, from the late 1970/early 1980s This silhouette can be found in the Fall 1982 & Spring 1983 collections, in abstract prints, as well as the iconic music note print. We believe this pre-date those, as the colors and fabric are more in line with the collections from the mid to late 1970s, and YSL was no stranger to repeating/recreating his silhouettes that were outstanding. This phenomenal beauty features a striking, vivid, vibrant floral in an orangey red, yellow, blue and green on white semi-sheer cotton voile that is light as feather and so luxurious to the touch. Wide ruffle sits atop the shoulders, covering a straight, slightly fitted bodice. Comes with a matching fabric self tie belt. Asymmetric dropped waist with very full, flouncy skirt bottom that has a high-low hem revealing a bit of the lower leg. So very flamenco inspired! Side zipper closure with hook and eye fasten. This lovely gown is an absolute gem that is sure to light up any occasion it is worn to.
