Yves Saint Laurent Vintage Haute Couture AW 1985 Black Lace Sequin Column Gown Dress

Breathtaking vintage Yves Saint Laurent Haute Couture gown, shown here documented on the Fall/Winter 1985 runway. This exquisite gown comes in a black mesh lace with bows and flowers within, sporadically embellished with sequins throughout. The mesh is layered over a black silk chiffon, then a medium brown shade of semi-sheer silk georgette at the body, with the sleeves remaining sheer. Partial zip at bottom of each sleeve cuff. Plunging V neckline with gathered bust at center. Column silhouette with slight flare at skirt bottom, bias cut. Lightly padded shoulder for structure, easily removable if you choose. Zip closure at backside. A custom haute couture masterpiece with a numbered label.
