The rumors are true. After ten years in business, we regret to announce that our time in Soho has come to an end. It's no secret that the rent in NYC is always rising (Soho in particular), and it has become virtually impossible for a small company like ours to operate out of that neighborhood. It's hard for us, it has been a great run and we thank you for allowing us to add to your closets for an entire decade. We loved being there and we have developed friendships with our clients that are truly irreplaceable.
Amarcord has poured its blood, sweat, and tears into that shop and it will be sorely missed. The store will remain open until mid-April. We're having a moving sale, so be sure to swing by and grab something special for yourself at up to 60% off.
We've decided that with this change, it is time to make another. We're in the process of giving our current Williamsburg store a COMPLETE makeover. Be prepared to swoon! We're reintroducing the shop as a higher-end boutique, offering a mix of merchandise you could snag from Soho with the best that the old Williamsburg shop had to offer. We promise, it will be worth the trip across the bridge from the city. Stay tuned for an opening date (around mid-May).
